Minerals Species: Fluorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Large partial cubic crystal of nearly colorless (slight pink color) fluorite with crystal surfaces composed of smaller parallel crystal faces. All surfaces appear to be naturally crystallized, including the rounded upper corner. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #4184; ex. Laviere collection #572.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 14x11x9 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 11 cm.
Price: $55 (plus shipping).
