Minerals Species: Cassiterite (twinned crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Santa Barbara Vein, Rondônia, Brazil.
Description: Lustrous translucent brown to black cassiterite crystals with no matrix. The cassiterite is twinned, with twin plane visible running across the termination faces. Accompanied by original letter from Breeding. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear. Ex. Peter B. Nalle (1923-2010) collection, gift from Wm. Breeding, mine consultant in 1977.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 25x23x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 23 mm.
Price: $95 (plus shipping).
