Minerals Species: Cassiterite.
Location of mineral deposit: Itinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Description: Highly lustrous black cassiterite crystals with remnants of matrix on the bottom where the specimen was attached. The cassiterite crystals have complex surfaces and are twinned repeatedly. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 17x17x13 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-13 mm.
Price: $38 (plus shipping).
