Minerals Species: Acanthite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Mina General, Fresnillo, Mexico.
Description: Complex cluster of parallel gray-metallic acanthite crystals to 4 mm on transparent-to-translucent colorless quartz crystals to 8 mm. The acanthite crystals have flat faces with rounded edges, though some are almost totally rounded and appear melted. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 30x18x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-8 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
